Born and raised in Ripley, West Virginia, Dr. Justin Southall was a two-time All-State and State Champion pole vaulter in 1999 and 2000. He extended his athletic career at the University of Akron, where he earned three varsity letters in the decathlon and javelin and graduated magna cum laude in 2004 with a B.S. in Sports and Exercise Science.

Driven to translate athletic excellence into healing and performance, Dr. Southall earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas — graduating cum laude in 2007. He began his practice in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, then relocated in 2010 to serve the Eastern Shore of Alabama.

At Eastern Shore Chiropractic, Dr. Southall brings elite-athlete care to everyday recovery. He has served as the Team Chiropractor for the University of South Alabama and was the Team Fascial Distortion Model (FDM) Specialist and Chiropractor for the 2014 Fairhope Pirate football team. As an instructor of the FDM model, he trained athletic training and medical staff from organizations including the Arizona Diamondbacks and LSU Athletics.

Dr. Southall has extensive training in the Fascial Distortion Model (FDM), a form of manual therapy designed for the treatment of sports injuries, muscle strains, and postural issues. His advanced certifications also include a Master’s Certification in Active Release Technique (ART) — with full-body certification in complex protocols and nerve entrapment treatments — as well as training in SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment) and Functional 

In addition, Dr. Southall is Certified in Acupuncture and Dry Needling, and Certified in Nutrient Injection Therapy, enabling him to integrate traditional and modern therapeutic methods for optimal healing, recovery and performance.

When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Southall enjoys life with his wife, Dr. Tobie Southall, whom he met at Parker College in 2005.  Together they are proud parents of three beautiful children.

Dr. Tobie Southall graduated summa cum laude from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science, before earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree summa cum laude and Salutatorian honors from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas, in 2006.

She began her chiropractic career in Dallas while awaiting Dr. Justin Southall’s graduation, then practiced in North Mobile for two years before joining Eastern Shore Chiropractic in 2011.

From 2013 to 2015, Dr. Tobie successfully guided hundreds of patients in achieving their weight-loss goals through her expertise in nutrition, metabolic health, and the Ideal Protein program, helping patients collectively lose thousands of pounds of fat.

In addition, she has pursued over two years of advanced study in pregnancy and pediatric chiropractic care, allowing her to provide gentle, specialized treatment for expectant mothers, infants, and children.

As a new patient at Eastern Shore Chiropractic, the first point of care for most patients begins with, Dr. Tobie whom performs comprehensive evaluations and develops individualized plans to help each person begin their journey toward better health, balance, and lasting pain relief.

Dr. Stephanie Harrison is a Baldwin County native. Growing up in Gulf Shores she was a three sport athlete and active in her community. She attended the University of South Alabama where she graduated in 2013 with a B.S. in Biology. She then pursued her dream of helping people to better health by attending Chiropractic College at Life University in Marietta, GA.

After three and a half years of school in Atlanta, Dr. Stephanie and her husband Tyler were ready to come home! In January of 2017, she completed a six-month internship with Dr.’s Justin and Tobie Southall of Eastern Shore Chiropractic & Sports Clinic where she had extensive training in FDM (Fascial Distortion Model) and ART (Active Release Technique) which are forms of manual therapy designed for the treatment of sports injuries, muscle strains, and postural issues. 

Dr. Stephanie has been certified in Dry Needling since 2018, which targets trigger points and stimulates the underlying tissue to help relieve tension, improve blood flow, and reduce pain and dysfunction in the area of complaint. Dr. Stephanie is Webster certified, specializing in prenatal care throughout all stages of pregnancy to restore balance and alignment to the pelvis, all the way into postpartum. She has also attended additional postgraduate courses to provide safe, gentle, and age-appropriate adjustments and cranial work for all pediatric ages. Dr. Stephanie and Tyler have two beautiful children. They enjoy spending time with family and being outdoors.

Dr. Ellie Rainwater grew up in Jackson, Alabama, where she participated in competitive swimming for ten years. She graduated from the University of South Alabama in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Dr. Ellie also met her husband, Josh, while both were attending USA. She then received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in 2022.

Prior to graduation, Dr. Ellie and her husband returned to south Alabama, where she completed an internship with Dr. Justin Southall at Eastern Shore Chiropractic & Sports Clinic.

Dr. Ellie holds a certification in Dry Needling, which targets trigger points and stimulates the underlying tissue to help relieve tension, improve blood flow, and reduce pain and dysfunction in the area of complaint. She has received extensive training in the Fascial Distortion Model (FDM), which is a form of manual therapy designed for the treatment of sports injuries, muscle strains, and postural issues. She also has hands-on experience in the management of TMJ pain and dysfunction (TMD), which can include jaw pain, clicking or popping, headaches, difficulty chewing, and limited jaw movement.

In addition, Dr. Ellie holds a certification in the Webster technique, which specializes in prenatal care throughout all stages of pregnancy to restore balance and alignment to the pelvis, all the way into postpartum. She also works closely with infants and children, using age-appropriate, gentle adjustments to support musculoskeletal development from the very beginning.

Lynsey Guinn, LMT, FDM

Lynsey is originally from Louisiana but decided to move to Fairhope to raise her three children. She attended Pensacola School of Massage Therapy and Health Careers where she graduated with her license in massage therapy.

She began working alongside the doctors at Eastern Shore Chiropractic in 2019 and was encouraged to pursue a certification in the Fascial Distortion Model (FDM). Lynsey loves spending time with her family outdoors, hiking, and watching her kids play sports.
